MODBUS Gateway

CASCADEMIC’s MODBUS Gateway addresses the Industry’s need for a single gateway which can collect data from a variety of sensors and industrial machines. The highly adaptable Smart Gateway also provides the user modularity from software as well as hardware points of view, with all the wireless and wired interfaces built on modular architecture. This plug and play architecture greatly reduces the prototype development life cycle and provides developers and integrators a multitude of options with regard to the feature set of the Gateway.

With various input interfaces like RS485, RS232 and Analog Inputs, the Gateway can be connected to multiple sensors and is suitable for a variety of Industrial IoT Use Cases. The MODBUS Gateway can be fitted onto existing industrial sensors and meters with no replacement of the infrastructure, thus acting as an add-on non-invasive wireless converter to the legacy systems.

The MODBUS Gateway is based on NXP Semiconductors Chipset.

BLE to WiFi Gateway

CASCADEMIC’s BLE to WiFI Gateway device makes it easy and cost efficient to cover an area with BLE and get it connected with cloud, thus making it advantageous for applications to do real time remote monitoring or asset tracking with lesser effort and manpower.

The gateway reads BLE advertising data from beacons (like iBeacon or Eddystone), customized format and sends the information to MQTT server over Wi-Fi®. Users can configure the server credentials, WiFi settings, data period through a simple web UI.

The device thus effectively functions as a BLE to Wireless Adapter.

MODBUS to LoRaWAN Converter

One of the latest and popular offerings from CASCADEMIC Solutions is the MODBUS to LoRaWAN converter.

It uses the LoRaWAN™ technology, which is a Low Power Wide Area Network (LPWAN) specification intended for wireless battery operated Things in a regional, national or global network. LoRa modulation technique provides significantly longer range compared to other wireless technologies.

The converter collects the data from MODBUS(RTU) slave device and converts it to LoRa environment. The gateway collects the data and sends to the cloud using GPRS.

The MODBUS to LoRaWAN converter is based on NXP Semiconductors Chipset.

LoRaWAN Node

CASCADEMIC Solutions comes up with the Pulse metering adapter with LoRa , it uses the latest technology called LoRa which is one of the modulation technique that provides significantly longer range compared to other RF technology. This adapter does not require mains power, it can run with a single AA primary battery(Lithium). Since it require few micro ampere of current the battery can last for years.

This adapter takes the data from the pulse output meter and converts the digital pulse to the actual data and sends to the gateway through LoRa. The gateway will receive the data and will send to the remote server through Hyper text transfer protocol(HTTP).
